On the day we are born, we are all born the same way & we are equal for a moment. On the day we die, we are all the same...dead & we are all equal until God passes judgment. It is what we do between the birth date & the death date, that defines who we are & were in life. We leave the footprints in the sand, of who we affected & what we did to help or harm others, as the case may be. The footprints in the sand, left by me are hopefully a path, for others to follow. A path of good deeds that will honor my name, so others will say well done, she led a good life & she made a positive impact, on those she knew & did not have the pleasure to meet. I hope when I leave this earth, I will leave it a little better off, for me having been here.
God bless those who give of themselves & sacrifice for others. To all those who are helping the less fortunate, the battered & abused, the endangered & poor. If you have been blessed enough to be on a computer reading this, & you ate today, you own shoes, you have a pet that you love, or if you ever had a pet, if you can read this without fear of persecution & if you have the right to vote. If your children are healthy, safe & have all their needs met. You are truly blessed. Vote, sign petitions, make changes to positively impact the earth & it's inhabitants. Most importantly, take the time to be informed. It is a privilege to vote, sign your name to a petition & stand up for your voice to be heard. It is powerful. But, with power comes the responsibility to educate yourself & have several sources of information, to make an informed decision. In this respect we All have power, in our hands & voices, therefore it is imperative that we use it Wisely.
Help those less fortunate & poor, help those who can not speak for themselves (all the children, animals, mammals, fish & fowl), the abused & tortured. Please pick a cause & make a difference. One is always one more. Donate as you can afford to do so. You won't miss that cup of coffee, sodas, burgers, etc. Remember to those in need, to those that are battered & abused, to those who are hungry, to those that have endured heinous acts, they will appreciate the "gift", your donation will make, to better their lives, or in some cases save their lives. Volunteer if you can't afford to give a monetary gift. Volunteers are always needed to help in some form.
Barbaric
acts of violence are not acceptable. Cowardliness is what it is to
attack helpless creatures. Greed & violence go hand in hand. Sign
petitions, donate as you can, speak out, VOTE. If you take a stance, speak
up, each voice adds to the cry for a
halt in the violence. The sound will be deafening, but if we do nothing
the silence is deadly. That's how I see it. God Bless All those who let
their voices be heard & stand up for the defenseless.
Unfortunately, sometimes help or the lack of it comes too late for far too many. God rest their souls.
Please leave footprints leading to a better world, for our children & grandchildren. I apologize to anyone that I Upset by posting this message. I apologize to anyone who will be offended, by viewing these links to "causes", this means you have a heart & you do feel empathy for other living creatures. Some of these sites will have appalling pictures & videos, but Please view them anyway. The disturbing images are meant to open your eyes, to the evil that exists in this world. I usually try to laugh off most situations, but none of these causes are laughable. I have had to pause periodically while writing this, to wipe tears from my eyes. The mere thought of children & animals suffering rips my heart wide open. the good thing about a heart ripped wide open is the love can flow freely, to where it need to go.
If you read this & feel Nothing, or you go to these links & are not moved in some way, then I truly feel sorry for your soul. I fear you lack compassion, empathy, love & kindness. These are my views & I am proud to be an American, where I can voice them.
Animal Shelters & Rescues desperately need Your help 365 days of the year. Please Donate funds or your time to help them. Please Adopt an animal from Death Row in an Animal Shelter. Animals Give love & affection 365 days a year. Pets are Always Happy to see you, unlike your family sometimes (LOL). Seriously, PLEASE help those without voices who Need your Help. Your life will be greatly enriched through caring for an animal.
